Long running well respected company looking for a Diesel Technician

About the Role

They are seeking qualified heavy vehicle mechanics who will work as a part of their Repairs & Service team who are responsible for maintenance,repairs and servicing of road transport equipment. This includes pre-delivery and accessories fitment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and repair orders instructions, to meet specified quality, safety and general performance criteria.

Key Responsibilities

Ability to complete high-quality work unsupervised Service and repairs to all makes of trucks Able to write clear and concise stories

The Ideal Candidate (Qualifications, Skills & Experience)

Trades qualified (Australian Recognised Heavy Vehicle Mechanics) Excellent team player Customer-focused Keen to enhance and grow their current knowledge and skills Commitment to correct OH&S practices Good written and communication skills Cummins and MX PACCAR /CAT/ Detroit Diesel / MTU engine experience General servicing experience Diagnostic and analytical skills, particularly software based

$35 – $40 p/h depending on experience
